I released an album today! "flower fields" is a collection of piano centric works - from improvisations, to compositional etudes, to unused video game music !
I started playing piano in the 8th grade - I had been a violist for four years prior, was already attending a (public! free! thank god) school of fine arts, and my mother noticed that whenever a piano was around I wouldn't stop messing with it.
That "messing with it" gained more structure as I started to take piano classes. I learned about scales, chords, and arpeggios and eventually started stringing them together to make my own music. After listening to enough Sonic the Hedgehog midis online, I wondered, "could I learn to make midis?" - and before long, I'd settled on a career. as a middle schooler.
The piano still holds a special place in my heart and I'll be releasing more piano albums in the coming years. flower fields is available for purchase on Bandcamp, Spotify, and streaming wherever else you get your music. Enjoy.
