"Mixing Magic" is the main gameplay theme from a game jam game I worked on called Spelltacular Smoothies! The premise of the game is that you're a barista running a magical smoothie cart, blending together ingredients into potions for adventures to take on their journeys. (Somebody's gotta be putting those things together, right?)
My goal was to blend (ha) the kind of sound associated with chill, cozy games with something more reminiscent of writing for JRPGs. I'm told that the end result sounds like a cross between Zelda and Stardew Valley, so I think I nailed it 🫡
