This is one of a few sketches I made for a client’s in-development fps project - I took inspiration from my own ambient noise work and from the soundscapes of the Devil May Cry series.

I’ll never forget what one composition professor said to me: ‘The way we get better is by trying new things.’ I had the chance to experiment with electronic noise music at Berklee, but back then, it was just another assignment.

Now, I’m grateful for those experiments and the way they’ve directly contributed to my career. Each of these pieces will be composed of short “noise cells” that can be shuffled and transitioned between each other, to keep the darkness nice and fresh.
