I don't always get to write "sleepy" music, but when I do, I like to lean into it.
"Star Charts" was put together as a level select/map theme for "The Stars Between Us" - I really leaned into that idea of that screen serving as a place of rest, hence the aformentioned sleepy vibes (heck I'm sleepy right now 😴)
It was also a fun opportunity to simplify the game's theme down to its most essential parts, a very simple chord progression combined with pleasant, chiming notes from the melody. Not exactly a bell, but bell-like - not in timbre, but in personality.
