We're coming up on the last piece that I wrote for EyeWire, "inspiration" - by the time I'd gotten to this point in the soundtrack, I'd felt like I'd fully explored the style we devised for the game, along with the different ways that I could create music inside of the "Sonic Shuffle" system we'd devised so I decided to think outside of the box on this one a little bit.

The file for this one is all in the same tempo and time signature (to make everybody's life easier) BUT I took the liberty of playing more free, improvisational parts without any regard for a metronome or any sense of time. I wrote several of these sections (at varying lengths) so it has a neat effect of moving between those free bits and the traditionally written parts as it shuffles through each segment.

inspiration and the rest of the EyeWire soundtrack are available wherever you get your music!
